Being that he's a business man, NOT a politician, he's finally beginning to learn that bullying Congressmen and Senators is NOT the same as bullying a young woman on "Apprentice".
Politicians don't LIKE being treated like they're scum, although a case can be made that most of them deserve it.
I'm sure a lot of Republican legislators are regretting that they put Trump in office. After all, traditionally, after a coup such as the one we've witnessed, the politicos that did the work usually end up with super cush jobs: Secretary of State, Defense, etc.
We all know that politicians have two agendas: getting re-elected, and getting re-elected, and they work hard at that.
Not this time. No, Trump has surrounded himself with his billionaire cronies, just as we knew he would. They paid for his election, he owes it to them. This leaves all the politicians still standing on the doorstep, rather than settling behind that big walnut desk in a tax payer paid marble palace.
Many of them are afraid to face their constituents. Indeed, one in my state absolutely refuses to show his face to the public, and we're talking REPUBLICANS. So much for 'listening to the people'.
Trump now wants Democrats to support him, because Republicans increasingly aren't. Being a Democrat, I can happily say EFF YOU Donald. I note that Nancy Pelosi's remark about Trump being a 'rookie' was so perfectly aimed that Trump let it slide without his usuall twittered retort.
However, being that he hasn't the brains, the morals, the ethics or integrity evolution gave to a slug (although there is a physical resemblance), my saying that won't even blip his radar.
Among the many odious people he was surrounded himself is Sean Spicer, his press secretary.
Something about Fudd Lite has been niggling in my mind and suddenly came clear yesterday, when Spicer harangued a black female reporter at his press conference. He basically told her to 'shut up" and I could hear the N word lingering on his tongue. He would never have treated a white man that way.
He sounds like he's been huffing helium.
Trump-you need to resign. You didn't want the job, you wanted the title. You have to get to work, bozo Golfing every weekend isn't what Presidents do. But you're not really a President. No, you're a clown. You won't hear that, will you. To quote Jack Nicholson "You can't handle the truth".
