Where is Ted Cruz while Houston drowns?
So where is Ted Cruz? You remember Ted...the Tea Party Ted, the man who made it his life's ambition as a Texan Senator to cut ALL aid to those not wearing seven digits after their dollar sign.
Where is Ted Cruz as his hometown drowns?
Where is Ted Cruz, the "Man Who Speaks for the American People"? The guy who claims he knows what the average American wants and needs?
Right now, those people, in Houston and Port Arthur, are living on a cot in the middle of a crowded shelter. They've lost everything: their home, their job, their car, sometimes their family members. Have you seen Ted Cruz out there, slogging about in boots or using his yacht to pluck people off their island rooftops?
Is his in Washington, still planning on cutting every lifeline he can find for the poor person in Houston (as well as all America)? Is he going to say to Texas the same thing he said to New Jersey when Hurricane Sandy destroyed their coastal towns, that being, "tough shit, you don't get a dime."
Quite honestly, he was successful...there are still thousands of people in NJ, waiting on FEMA to give them SOMETHING.

Have you noticed? Trump hasn't said one word about how much money he's donated to the thousands of Houstonions made homeless by Hurricane Harvey.
